Terms of Service

Last updated October 1, 2026

By using Sacred Gita, you agree to these terms. We've kept them short and in plain language.

The free service

Sacred Gita is free to use. Every verse of the Bhagavad Gita, the writing guide, the word-by-word glosses, writing in order with the full journey, the paintings and the Museum are all available to everyone, with no account required.

Saving your progress

Your completed verses, streak and settings are saved in this browser. Handwriting is temporary and is not restored when you return to a verse. Account sign-in and cloud sync are not available in this version. Clearing this site's browser data removes that saved progress. There is no paid tier at this time.

Optional donations

You may support Sacred Gita through Stripe with an optional US$5 monthly donation or a one-time donation of an amount you choose in US dollars (minimum US$0.50). New payments are received by Technologies InstantHPI Inc. Every verse and feature remains free whether or not you donate. No donation or subscription is required to use the app. Review the amount, currency and payment schedule shown on Stripe before confirming.

Monthly support renews automatically and is billed each month until cancelled. You can manage or cancel monthly support through Stripe using the email address used for your donation. Cancellation stops the next renewal charge; it does not automatically refund an earlier payment. A one-time donation does not renew. For donation questions, contact us at the email below.

Existing subscriptions collected by Carlos Faviel Font MD Inc keep their original price, schedule and terms; changing the recipient for new support does not move those subscriptions. Use Manage earlier monthly support to manage or cancel one of those subscriptions.

The service is provided as-is

The English and Hindi translations and word meanings are adapted from Gaurav Verma / OccultGuide under Creative Commons Attribution–ShareAlike 4.0. These terms do not restrict your rights under that license. See text sources, changes and the unrestricted text download.

Sacred Gita is provided as-is, without warranties of any kind. We do our best to keep it available and accurate, but we can't guarantee it will always be error-free or uninterrupted.
